Paper Pot Price Increases Coming October 2022

We’ve worked hard over the years to maintain consistent pricing because we know first hand how input costs can impact a farm’s bottom line. When we first introduced the paper chain pot system to North America, one of the most common questions we received was about year-to-year pricing and availability, given the long supply chain. Throughout the 16 years that we’ve been the primary North American representative and importer for Nitten, the Japanese company behind the revolutionary paper chain pot transplanting system, we’ve seen swings in currency exchange rates, shipping cost increases, and (lately) dramatic inflationary pressure. Thankfully, pricing on paper pots has been remarkable consistent. Unfortunately, increases in manufacturing costs and shipping mean that prices will be going up in the fall of 2022.

We recommend stocking up before the price increase happens on October 1.
